- BLADES are ground, fixture tested for dimensional accuracy, and precision matched in sets to ensure proper balance.
- CONTROL CAGES and IMPELLERS are machine ground to ensure smooth mating surface contact and dimensional accuracy.
- CHEMISTRY is assured by our special alloyed induction furnace heats that are tested prior to pouring. This ensures uniform wear characteristics and excellent part longevity.
- HEAT TREATING is performed in-house using accurate digitally controlled furnaces.

Premium Wheel Housing Liners Manufactured by Astech are ground and fixture tested to insure proper fit for interchangeability with OEM parts.
Shot Blast Wheels are mounted in a sealed housing. The inner walls of the wheel housing are subject to extreme abrasive wear caused by shot action. Astech manufactures premium wheel housing liners designed to protect housing walls. Our liners are cast with Astech’s special chrom-moly white iron alloy.
This special alloy is backed by Astech’s years of industrial experience in manufacturing long lasting wear components.

Astech premium flights are manufactured from abrasive resistant 11-14% manganese steel for maximum service life and will outlast standard mild steel flights by three to four times. Astech premium flights are available as a casting or fabrication.
Every Astech flight is produced using the highest quality materials and workmanship, ensuring a precise fit. An accurate fit will increase the life of the links, pins and traction wheels by reducing stress and strain on the part.
Longer lasting parts will result in less down time and an increased productivity, which everybody loves!
DURALINK - Unbreakable Chain Links
Better Than OEM quality Links
Astech offers a unique cost effective concept when it comes to chain links for mill belt type blast machines. Customer feedback has shown an increase in life of up to 3 times that of OEM links! Astech DURALINKS are very resistant to breakage. In fact, if you break a flight attachment off of one of our chain links, we will replace it free.
